Imaginaerum Nominated for Album of the Year at the 2012 Progressive Music Awards


Nightwish's latest album Imaginaerum has been nominated for Album of the Year at the new Progressive Music Awards, run by PROG magazine. They face competition from Anathema, It Bites, Opeth, Rush, Storm Corrosion and Yes.

The voting page features the following highly favourable review of the album:
"The undisputed kings (and queen) of symphonic metal, Finland’s most successful metal band of all time confirmed their prog credentials once and for all with this masterly flight of fancy. Epic, ornate and mischievous, Imaginaerum pushed Nightwish’s trademark sounds to new limits and their huge fan base squealed their approval."


Instructions: Go to the link above. Click on the picture of the album you wish to vote for. Click the vote button on the right hand side. Then you can continue voting if you want, but the important thing is that when you’ve finished you must click Register Votes. You then have to fill in an e-mail and date of birth, uncheck the promotional things if you don’t want them and then accept the terms. Then click Register Votes again and your votes will count.
