NEW VIDEO FROM ARCH ENEMY - YOU WILL KNOW MY NAME

Arch Enemy are one of the world's biggest female-fronted metal bands and the Swedish melodeath masters hit music headlines recently after the retirement of Angela Gossow (who remains as the band's manager). Taking over from her is Alissa White-Gluz, already a well-known vocalist for her work with The Agonist as well as guest spots with Kamelot, Nightwish and Delain. The band are touring the UK this December.

You Will Know My Name is the second video from the band's upcoming album War Eternal (the first of the same title can be viewed here). It will be released on June 10th by Century Media - pre-order now from CM Distro (CD, limited mediabook, limited mediabook + shirt, limited 3CD deluxe artbook, gatefold black LP, gatefold golden LP, gatefold silver LP),
Amazon UK (CD), EMP (limited CD + necklace, limited mediabook + necklace, limited 3CD deluxe artbook + necklace, limited LP + necklace, limited coloured LP) and more.

Terrorizer magazine celebrated the new line-up with a special cover, and it's rather brilliant:

The video premiered over at Metal Hammer today, check it out below.

AMBERIAN DAWN UNVEIL MAGIC FOREST ALBUM SAMPLES AND TEASER TRAILER

Finnish symphonic metal act Amberian Dawn are soon to release their sixth album Magic Forest, the first new material they have made with new singer Capri (last year's Re-Evolution was a compilation of re-recorded tracks). Originally crowdfunded on Indiegogo, the band then signed to Napalm Records for this release.

The album will be released at the end of June/beginning of July and you can pick it up from Napalm Records (limited digipack, deluxe set with signed postcard and pendant), Amazon UK (limited digipack), EMP (limited digipack) and more.

Check out the preview samples and teaser trailer in the videos below.

NIGHTWISH BEGIN WORK ON NEXT ALBUM

Tuomas Holopainen announced on his official website that he has been working on the very first demos for the next Nightwish album. They now have 12 songs to work with for when they enter their Finnish summer camp in July. Tuomas has described the new record as "bringing the very best out of newcomers Floor and Troy) and also mentioned that it will have a theme running through it.

In a thread on the band's official forum, admins posted a comment from Tuomas where he explained that recording will hopefully be finished in January in time for an April/May 2015 release. It is also mentioned that the tour is likely to begin in the US next spring and will span a whole 2 years.

NIGHTWISH IMAGINAERUM ENGLISH BLU-RAY AVAILABLE

In another piece of Nightwish news, the band are releasing an extremely limited version of their movie Imaginaerum from their official webshop. This blu-ray has English covers, audio and subtitles (as well as subtitles in Finnish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian). It is available to pre-order now for shipment in June.
