Belgium's Metal Female Voices Fest is back in October this year and they're treating us to a whole host of excellent bands and special shows. Some of the rare sights on offer include:
- Leaves' Eyes 10th Anniversary Show with setlist voted for by fans
- "The Sirens" show featuring Liv Kristine, Anneke Van Giersbergen and Kari Rueslåtten
- First Draconian performance with new vocalist Heike Langhans
- Therion with guest vocalist Sandra Laureano
- First ever show of Heidi Parviainen's Dark Sarah
- Xandria with new singer Dianne Van Giersbergen
- Rare festival appearance of Sirenia
- Metal Female Voices United: singers performing covers of their favourite songs
- New bands: Viper Solfa, Season of Ghosts, Jaded Star

Metal Female Voices Fest XII - 2014 Trailer
I attended MFVF as press last year and had an absolutely brilliant time - you really can't beat this festival if you're a fan of symphonic metal and/or metal bands with female vocalists. If you missed my reviews of the weekend, you can read them here: Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3

Tickets cost €80 for the whole 3 days or €50 for a day ticket to the Saturday or Sunday.
