Metal Female Voices Fest, the staple of the female-fronted and symphonic metal calendar, has announced that it will be taking a year off in 2015.
The festival team explained that they had a desire to evolve and take time off to develop new projects. They also hoped that it would give fans longer to save up for the next edition. Previously, they also mentioned that they were having trouble securing headliners for that particular weekend.
As many people buy their tickets for the next year's festival before or during the current one, MFVF thought it fitting to make this announcement in good time, to avoid anyone's disappointment.
Never fear - the festival will return in 2016, and promises to be bigger and better.
