SERENITY REVEAL NEW ALBUM DETAILS

Austrian symphonic metallers Serenity have revealed that their new album will be called Lionheart. The artwork (above) was created by Gyula Havancsák. As always, there is a historical theme (and it appears some Game of Thrones influences, too).

The band commented:

"Hear us roar! After we spread Da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus all over the world, which you made one of our most successful records ever, we will now feed your yearnings with another historical masterpiece: LIONHEART! Strong, powerful Symphonic Power metal hymns mixed with emotions from the depth of our souls - follow us into this new era and show us your Lionheart!"

XANDRIA UK/EUROPE TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

Xandria have announced a string of tour dates across the UK and Europe in support of their latest album Theater of Dimensions. The band have had to cancel a few shows lately due to lead singer Diane being unwell, so let's hope she will be back in full force for these shows.

APOCALYPTICA UK TOUR ON SALE NOW

Apocalyptica will be bringing their classic Metallica covers show to the UK in 2018, based on their 1996 debut record Apocalyptica Plays Metallica By Four Cellos.

EPICA: PART 2 OF SOLACE SYSTEM DOCUMENTARY

Epica have released the second part in their series of mini documentaries about The Solace System EP. In this clip, the band talk about the writing of some of the songs on the EP.
