Sharon Den Adel has launched a solo project called My Indigo, with a single of the same name. She clarified in her statement that she is NOT leaving Within Temptation! This is a relief for many friends who were afraid after the band's websites went dark this week, showing only a black screen with "Sharon Den Adel statement coming soon" - a move which Sharon apologises for in her video.
Instead, the project was born after Sharon suffered from writer's block and personal difficulties, and found herself writing songs in a different style to cope with what she was going through.
She explains that things are already going much better with her main band, and that they now have songs in the demo phase for the upcoming album. Check out her full statement in the video below.
