After many years in the making, symphonic metal pioneers Therion have announced the details of their new rock opera. The huge three part album will be titled Beloved Antichrist and is loosely based on Vladímir Soloviov’s "A Short Tale Of The Antichrist". It will be three hours long with 27 different character roles being played by the band's vocalists. Today the band revealed the cover art (above) which was designed by Thomas Ewerhart.

A single is set to be released before Christmas, while the album will be released on February 2nd 2018 via Nuclear Blast. The band are also heading out on a European tour next year.
