Symphonic metal pioneers Therion are the first headliner to be announced for Metal Female Voices Fest in Belgium. The Swedish band have headlined once before back in 2011.
Joining them in the Oktoberhallen venue is the new project from Maxi Nil (former singer of Visions of Atlantis): Jaded Star. Maxi performed as part of the Eve's Apple show at last year's MFVF. There's also another relatively new act hitting the festival - La-Ventura, a melodic metal band from the Netherlands.
