Two small pieces of lovely news from the music world this week. Evanescence singer Amy Lee announced the birth of her first child by posting the above picture on her Instagram. The baby boy has been named Jack Lion Hartzler (Amy's legal name is Amy Hartzler - she married her husband Josh in 2007).
Also announced was the marriage of Amanda Somerville to Sander Gommans. Amanda is an American symphonic metal singer and vocal coach, known for her work with After Forever, Epica, Kamelot and more. Sander was a founding member and guitarist for After Forever and also worked on the Trillium project, where Amanda provided lead vocals. They have been engaged since August 2013 and posted the above photo from their wedding on Amanda's official Facebook.
Congratulations to both couples!
