The first band promo pic for the upcoming Nightwish album was revealed today in an article on Kuleva.fi. Taken by Ville Juurikka, who has worked with the band before, it is the first to feature new drummer Kai Hahto (stepping in for Jukka Nevalainen, who is suffering from insomnia).
The article also tells us that Nightwish have been announced for QStock, a Finnish festival that will take place in Oulu from the 24th to the 27th of July.
In another festival surprise, the band will also play at Summer Breeze in Germany, as announced by the advent calendar on their website. This fest is held at Dinkelsbühl from the 13th to the 15th of August.
