NIGHTWISH SHOW RESCUED BY KINDNESS OF SERBIAN WOMAN
A bit of a heartwarming story to end the round-up... Nightwish's show in Sofia, Bulgaria was almost cancelled after their truck full of equipment was stuck at the Serbian border overnight. But according to the band's drummer, Kai Hahto, they were saved by a Serbian woman and the show was able to go ahead at the last minute. Kai posted the story on his Facebook page:
"So our truck crew were stuck at truck stop and went to a diner which was already closed, but there was this lady working there who let them in and cooked them food after closing time. She spoke English and our drivers explained the situation. She said" i can drive you next morning with my car to the judge etc..." . So next morning this lady drove our truck crew with her car to police, to judge, explained everything as a translator and when everything was fine she said" if you can give 10 euros for gas it's ok". Our driver gave her 50 and she was "no, i can't take that much!" So the lesson in this is..... Nobody helped our drivers except one random stranger lady at truckstop who used her own car and drove 2 totally strange men from Finland to the Police and Judge and asked 10 euros. Without this Lady that show would have never happened yesterday and this is a fact that without this lady's action over 6500 people would have missed this show yesterday. What a story!!!!"
Someone give this lady a medal!
