In an announcement made yesterday, Nightwish finally confirmed that Swedish metal band Sabaton will be joining them on their US tour. They join symphonic stars Delain who were previously announced. Check out this previous post for more info on the tour.
There has also been some more good news for fans in Finland. Two special open air shows have been announced: one in Joensuu (6/6/15) and one in Tampere (31/7/15). Supports for these are their fellow Finnish bands Children of Bodom, Sonata Arctica and Insomnium (Joensuu only).
The pre-sales for these shows will start on the the 14th of November 2014.
Finally, in a teasing move Nightwish have also released a t-shirt that hints at their upcoming album. The front shows an ammonite fossil while the back reads "Find The Origin 2015". There are two versions of the shirt available: normal fit and slim fit.
