We have sad news to report today as Stream of Passion have announced that they are to split.
In their official statement, the band commented:
"Over the past eleven years we've had the time of our lives playing in stages all over the world and sharing moments of joy on stage. But all good things come to an end, and we feel it's time to move on and search for new musical challenges. We're proud of everything we've achieved, with your help, and we want to end the band history on a high note instead of losing focus, interest and drive."
As a parting gift, they will be recording a live DVD at one of their upcoming concerts in the Netherlands. They will also be going forward with their appearance at Progpower Fest in the USA and with their UK tour in October. A final special show will be announced for the end of the year.
The band concluded by expressing their eternal gratitude to their fans and say they will all be continuing to make music, one way or another.
Update: the final farewell show from Stream of Passion will take place in Tivoli de Helling, Utrecht, the Netherlands on December 28th 2016.
